In November We Celebrate National Family Caregivers Month

In celebration of 15 years of providing services and support to family caregivers, the National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA) is partnering with Right at Home through its Anniversary Circle Campaign.  NFCA is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to making life better for all of America’s family caregivers.  

November is National Family Caregivers Month (NFC Month)—a month designated annually as a time to thank, support, educate, and empower family caregivers, and individuals providing care to loved ones living with chronic illness, disability or the frailties of old age.

NFCA is hosting a FREE national TeleClass to teach family caregivers how to communicate more effectively with healthcare professionals.  The event will be held November 6 and 13, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.  Conducted via phone and Internet, the TeleClass will empower family caregivers to be better healthcare advocates for themselves and their loved ones.
