Right at Home caregiver with client

Right at Home Lower Manhattan owners Albert Eshoo and Joyce Barocas recently received an urgent request for care that resulted in the perfect pairing of client and caregiver.

"We were told that the client was blind, and he was coming to New York City from Nigeria for a conference at United Nations Headquarters," says Eshoo. "He needed additional support to guide him through the weeklong conference, and it had to be someone who could get U.N. security clearance within 48 hours."

No problem! Right at Home Lower Manhattan caregiver Runar Holen (at left, above) still had his clearance from his former career working for UNICEF. He assisted client Theo Odaudu (at right, above) in making his way to events at the U.N. and around the city.
